Niacin or vitamin B3 is a component for the creation of the coenzymes NAD+ and NADP+. Many reactions and syntheses of endogenous substances require these coenzymes. They belong to the crucial cofactors for mitochondrial energy creation. Niacin is therefore essential for a functioning cell.

TriaMit-B® contains vitamin B3 in the form of niacinamide, which can be used for creating the coenzymes without being converted first. It is deemed particularly safe for being used as a dietary supplement.
