Vitamin B12 is the only vitamin in the B group that can be stored. It is essential for a number of synthesis processes and it is indispensable in cell division, blood formation and for a functioning immune system.
When the physiological messenger substance NO (nitrogen monoxide) is produced in great quantities – this is called nitrosative stress, a process that is harmful to the mitochondria – high losses in vitamin B12 result. These losses cannot be compensated for by a normal resorption process that relies on vitamin B12 that is bonded to the protein “intrinsic factor“.

Vitamin B12 mse contains a dosage of vitamin B12 that is high enough in order to be resorbed through diffusion, i.e. without the transport protein. This way, the losses can be compensated. In addition to that, the product contains vitamin B6, biotin and folic acid. In many areas of our metabolism, these work closely together with vitamin B12.
